I've just learned that Fox has apparently decided not to extend the series. I'm really disappointed in this new but obviously the decision is final ... I would really love to see a suite to this story and to Maddy and Mark relation ship. I liked the fact that this series was like no other, it was different and very interesting, it's a shame...But, you will have to stop your blog, no ?

There’s talk about Netflix considering picking up the series, so there’s still hope. Haven’t heard anything about a final decision just yet, but I’ll definitely post if I hear anything.

And no, I will not stop this blog. It might be quieter and I’ve been MIA for the last little while just because of school, but I still show my full support and mod the Terra Nova board at fanforum.com, but this blog isn’t going anywhere.

No! Heating up nicely is not a global warming joke, It is infact the best way to describe what has happened in the past 7 days.

There have been record hits on the Congress site as fans flurry in droves to sign the Save Terra Nova petition at www.saveterranova.tv. There have now been over 2300 submissions of the petition which is submitted directly to Fox Broadcasting. Overall the campaign has been positive and upbeat with fans sending in plastic dinosaurs and tweeting about the show every couple of minutes.

The Save Terra Nova Facebook page now stands at 2080 fans, twitter with over 500 followers and the site having over 9000 hits in only 5 days.

We need to keep up this momentum and together we can show the network that we want the show to stay.

FIC REC LIST

Okay, so I know things have been going slowly in the Mark/Maddy department, and in the Terra Nova fandom as a whole, as we eagerly await news on whether we get a second season or not (which we completely should get, btw). So I’ve come up with the idea to put up a fanfiction recommendation list to help tide us all over.
